2nd Birthday Pics

Yes, here are pictures (finally!) of the girlies' 2nd birthday. We had a good time with a few friends and family in celebrating our girls. Have I mentioned how blessed we are to have Suzan, Anna, Bethany and Brielle? They are true blessings from God! They are the sweetest, funniest, kindest, most loving and caring little 2-year-old girls! They bring MUCH joy, love and happiness to our family, home and hearts!!!!

WARNING! There are a lot of pictures here but all worth your while ;)

The morning of the girls' party Jared, the sweet Big Brother he is!, decided to make each sister a special birthday "crown." When we asked him how/where he knew to make these he said his teacher does this for each kid in his class, when it's that child's birthday. Needless to say, the girlies LOVED the handmade "hats" from brother.

Brielle, very excited to be the first birthday girl to get her crown...

Suzan, giddy with glee for her new crown...Anna, a bit stunned she had to wait so long for her crown...And Bethany, finally happy to have hers. Notice the big crocodile tears? Yes, she CRIED for hers, thinking she was going to be left out and not get one. No way, NeeNee. You'll get one, you just had to wait a bit girly!Ooooo! The ladybug birthday cupcakes! Very cute! The bakery ladies made 4 special ladybug cupcakes, 1 for each girl. How sweet and adorable! The ladies did an AWESOME job in decorating the cupcakes! Our friends' little boy, Jude M, taking a seat at the "fun table" ;)Jared thought it would be fun for the girlies to wear their crowns again...BrielleAnna...Bethany...And Suzan...Mama lighting candles on the cupcakesBirth order time! NeeNee trying to blow out the candles :DGo Bethany!!!Yay! She, too, got one!!!Time to sing "Happy Birthday!" to Brielle! Brielle'y trying to blow out the candles :D Okay, she was the biggest hoot of them all! I think it was because she saw her 3 sisters go first so she saw/knew what to do. She blew out the candles when were were about 2 words into "Happy Birthday!" Paul had to relight them - Ha!Trying for #2 candles :DThen she was hilarious when she clapped and cheered along with us, for herself in getting all of the candles blown out. I tell you, she was a HOOT!!!! :DNow, it's time to EAT the cupcakes!! Brielle...Bethany...Anna...SuzanBig Brother Jared (and no, that is NOT his Zero that he is drinking. That is one of the girlies hats :DRyan enjoying his cake, er, frosting ;)Russell M, who apparently either stole some cupcake from Brielle or Brielle, as she is known to do, pawned off her remaining cupcake to Russell. In any case, he was SO funny with that cake :DGracie playing with Anna. Too sweet!Anna checking out the many red, black and ladybug balloonsGrammy with Brielle'yGrammy with Anna PieLadybug door decorations, made by Mama ;)G&G Carlson got the girlies pink Cozy Coupes. Our neighbor handed down one to us but the 5 kids were always fighting over it. No more. Now, Jared can use the one we received from the neighbor and the girlies each have their own set of pink wheels!

Jen, actually I made the girlies ladybug shirts. And their ladybug hairbows too (HUGE thanks to Jessica S for the help/advice!!!). It was fun! The shirts are pretty easy (and WAY cheap!) to make. Thanks for the compliment :)

Love the birthday outfits. I'm assuming you probably made the shirts. So cute! The cake and cupcakes were adorable too. Love the ladybug theme!! Happy Birthday Suzan, Anna, Bethany and Brielle!!!

Maria, thanks for commenting on my blog. I must say, your birthday post was much bigger then mine for Claire (then again, you had FOUR times as many to celebrate!) They look so cute. I love the ladybug theme: the cupcakes, the shirts, the door hangings. So so so cute! And Claire's birthday is actually on the 4th as well. I wrote the post on the 1st, but didn't publish it until the 4th (thinking it would use the date of the 4th, but I guess it still kept it as the 1st). So, my 1 girl plus your 4 girls will always have the same b-days...they could be quintuplets! ~Summer

What darling little girls you have Maria! What a fun 2nd b-day they had. That was a sweet post you did about your little boy who turned 6 today. I so appreciate your positive attitude Maria about everything in your life. Take care, Jayne
