Retail Cost of Average, Healthy Quads: $1.1M

So, have you ever wondered "hm, how much are the medical bills to care for and deliver quads for the first year?" Well, if so BRACE YOURSELF! Paul compiled our medicals bills over the last year and here are our totals to care for me when pregnant with the girls, to deliver them via c-section, to care for the girls while in the NICU and to get them all of their miscellaneous doctor's visits/shots/etc. I will say that we were very fortunate and blessed to be healthy through the process, so these prices are lower than expected.

wow I wold really have expected them to be higher. My singleton preemie's antepartum, birth, postpartum and NICU was a little over $300K. However the part paid by the plan is alarmingly low in comparison---I surely hope you aren't expected to pay the rest out of pocket. I'd imagine your formula and diaper costs are another unimaginable sum!!

Yikes! Hope that 500K was "adjusted" nicely for you. If not, what an amazing tax write off!!
