O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, How Yummy are Your Branches
Well, as you could tell from the girls' 9 month picture, we have our Christmas tree up (here w/o the ornaments). Thanks to some post-Christmas shopping by a very quad pregnant wife (ahem, me ;) ) last year, we were able to get a steal (like 75% off! - sweet!) on a 9ft tree. So this is our first year putting it up. I have to say, it looks nice. Jared helped us set it up and hang the ornaments. He was very cute; all excited to decorate the tree and house :) The girls have enjoyed looking at the tree and grabbing at the lower branches. Don't worry, we have some soft, kid/baby-friendly ornaments on these branches. Since Suzan is the only one crawling right now, she's had full reign on the tree, getting a daily up-close-and-personal taste, er look, at the tree. Sometimes Anna and Bethany will roll over to the tree. It's very cute.
Suzan - "woo hoo! the tree is all mine!""wow, this is too cool!""hm...this branch looks especially yummy today."
This is our life: rejoicing in 13 years of marriage...raising a sweet, active and very smart 9 year old boy...carrying, delivering (at 32w3d) and now raising 5 year old quadruplet girls (yes, that's FOUR girls - poor dad and brother ;) )...and ultimately living a life centered and obedient to Christ...Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' - Matthew 37-39
