Christmas Lights

Tonight, Jared and I went around our neighborhood to look at some Christmas lights. It was fun! We drove around (yes, we's 52 degrees out and drizzly! okay, not a big deal for some of you in colder and snowier places but remember, it's Arizona in the winter ;) ) and saw some pretty cool looking lights...some snowmen, lots of white and colored icicle lights, Santas and reindeer. Jared's favorite? A house where the lights danced on and off to music (yup, music!). Mama's favorite? The backyard lights of the Arizona Cardinals head coach. Look...

I love how pretty these palms look all lit up in red, green and white. And the way they reflect in the water. Oooooo!Oh, and our lights look pretty neat too :)I can't wait until the girls are old enough (and able to get out and about in the winter time) to see lights. Just imagine...loading the girls into the quad stroller, all bundled up, with a sippy cup of warm cocoa in hand and us and Jared (also with hot cocoa in hand) walking around looking at all of the pretty lights. I can hear the kids now (in their little sweet voices), "oooooo! mama! look mama!". All 10 eyes as big as saucers staring at the lights. How fun will that be?!

See the palms makes me miss AZ! :(
SO nice.
Texas weather is crappy! Sunday we took the kids on a walk because it was a balmy 75 degrees, do you know the next day it snowed and sleeted and is now 25 degrees out side and icey. Stupid texas.

Just hearing you talking about the future gave me chills because that is so what we have to look forward to as well. Well, we live in South Mississippi so it will probably be sippie cups full of ice cold lemonade and riding in the stroller with bikinis on!
